Cynthia joined DBA Architects in 2022 with over 30 years of broad range experience spanning a diverse range of design professions. Since graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in Housing, Interior Design and Resource Management, she has been involved in projects from concept and space planning to production and marketing. Project types include production and custom single family residential, multifamily residential, commercial residential, commercial warehouse space, healthcare, and federal government office space. Her unique blend of experience also includes logistics & photography as well as marketing creative including print, web, events and virtual tour production.
Fortunate to have lived in many interesting places, her strong love of travel and flight compelled her at one point to pursue a pilot’s license, although she enjoys other methods of travel as well. Inspired by the new experiences that travel brings, great joy is also found in spending time at home with her family enjoying shared interests in cooking, design, music, photography and gardening. Her lifelong passion for creativity and design has resulted in an ever-expanding range of hobbies and appreciation of good design whether created or naturally found.
